Multiple authors saving 'new drafts' or 'editing drafts' simultaneously on the same node does not merge authoring changes. Last saved draft (Author 2) overrides first saved draft (author 1) for example.
Test scenario results
Content Author 1 creates edits draft at the same time as author 2, makes authoring changes, save drafts.
Content Author 2 creates edits draft at the same time, makes authoring changes save draft later than content author 1.
Draft state overrides content author 1 changes and only incorporates author 2 changes.
Are there any plans to implement any formal checkout process to circumvent this issue?
