Workflows extras was developed as part of the Sector Distribution to provide some extra tools around Drupal core's Workflows experience.
It sets up a default workflows configuration that should be suitable for most use-cases, kick-starting the process of moderating content on your site.
It adds routes and links for content for "my edits" and "needs review". Granular permissions are provided for access to these pages.
It updates several core tabs and node forms to be more user-friendly and includes reminders on how moderation changes will affect content.
It alters the revision overview to provide an experience more similar to what was offered in Drupal 7's Workbench module.
It provides a content moderation block.
Getting Started
Install the module via composer require drupal/workflow_extras
By default, the workflows is not applied to any entity bundles. Edit the "Workflows extras editorial workflow" (/admin/config/workflow/workflows/manage/workflow_extras_editorial_workflow) and apply it to as many bundles as needed. You can re-label the workflows to something that makes sense for your site.
That's it!
