Experimental project
This is a sandbox project, which contains experimental code for developer use only.
This module allows a Drupal user to create Google Content Experiments within a Drupal site.
This module allows an administrator to insert Google Content Experiments IDs into any given page/nodes/views serving as control pages in an experiment. The module then automatically generates valid Google Content Experiments JavaScript in the header of each control page.
A user should create an experiment in Google Content Experiments i.e Google Analytics interface and then simply add the URL on which user want to implement an experiment.
Compare the performances of different versions of a same page in real time and give your customers the best experience! The module enables you to start using AB testing. It pastes a short tag, as analytics tools, on every pages of the website.
How to use:
- Install the module
- Enable the module
- Goto "admin/config", you will see Google A/B Testing Configuration
- First you need to have Google Analytics account from which you can create experiments
- Add your experiment for the required page from "Add Experiment" tab.
- Visit that page and see if the experiment JS code is added or not by doing view source of page
- Once you see the JS code, then validate from Google Analytics interface and once its done then you can see the experiment working on the page you have added
That's it!
