He not even the daft questions about databases, versions, etc etc just plain simple nothing nada, that's not very nice is it?
Just look at the support questions and you will see a patern emerging. I think there is a need for a simple but effective tool to shine a light in the darkness were many of us are. I think we need a graphic ( a flowchart) of what drupal does or is capable of. Ofcourse the possibilities are endless but the general line isn't.
So you call youre site... drupal responds with .... and uses program .... builds it's html with .... and is styled with .... All the thing you will need are shown in relation to each other and that gives you a chance to determain their importance. Although it looks like a huge job it will save lots and lots of time for everyone. With a basic layout like bryght you will have 70 tables...doing what? all things have to be styled and you have to keep track of them. It seems logical that a lot of people are lost, the big picture is missing.
Well that's how i see it, and when looking at some of the questions i'm not alone.
But with a bit of luck there will be a graphical layout with all those things classes div and styles modules and code already on hand, that would be good coding practice, if so could it be shared....
Although my troubles are quit minor it keeps me from saying "Hello World" like the way I wish. Very basic but impossible. And maby you can find anything in the documentation but you still have to know where you're looking for.
I'd like to set up a tableless phptemplate theme with flexiblock. I noticed a couple tableless themes in the download hopper here on Drupal.org, but I'm not sure which one is better to use as a plain-vanilla template that I can build from. Any recommendations?
I'm interested to have a Drupal theme and i would like to have it changed little bit to meet my site requirements. Is there anyone we can help me on this. Please let me know.
