Bio:

Tiffany Farriss is interim CEO of the Drupal Association. She brings continuity and deep expertise to the role. During this time-boxed engagement, she will focus on strengthening the Association's financial and operational foundation and prepare it for long-term sustainability. The Board will lead and conduct the permanent CEO search.

Tiffany has contributed to Drupal for almost 20 years and served nearly five terms (nonconsecutive) on the Drupal Association Board. Tiffany resigned her Board seat and Treasurer role in July 2026 prior to appointment as the interim CEO position. Her Drupal roles have included substantial time on the DA Finance Committee and as Treasurer, as coordinator on the 2026 Alpha-Omega Security-Expert-In-Residence Grant, Drupal 25th Anniversary Gala Chair, DrupalCon Chicago 2011 chair and Marketplace Initiative in 2025. She understands the project, the Association's finances, and the realities its partners, contributors, and users face.

A recognized voice on open source sustainability, Tiffany has argued that maintaining shared digital infrastructure should be treated as an operational cost rather than an act of charity, shifting it into procurement budgets as a transparent, billable utility. She presented this framework at the Sovereign Tech Agency's reception during UN Open Source Week in 2026, following an invited appearance on a plenary panel on digital public infrastructure in 202. She gave a presentation about aligning public policy and procurement to sustain the infrastructure that open source communities depend on during EU Open Source Week 2026.

Tiffany uses her 30 years leading Palantir and certifications in Organizational and Leadership Coaching and Agile Leadership to lead people and guide organizations through periods of transition. Tiffany remains the owner of Palantir.net, a Chicago-based consultancy and long-standing Drupal Certified Partner, but has stepped back from all day-to-day operations for the duration of her interim term and is abiding by a strong Conflict of Interest Framework.
