I'm a senior full-stack software engineer and technical architect based in Cuenca, Ecuador, originally from the state of North Carolina in the U.S. Professionally trained in Computer Science at North Carolina State University, I've 20+ years of experience in the field. I am the founding employee at Bluespark, a Drupal-centric digital web agency focused in the Higher Education sector. I'm an enthusiastic advocate of Drupal and open source. On a daily basis I can be seen doing peer code reviews, interfacing with technical and non-technical team members, agency clients and stakeholders, preparing code releases, technical briefs. I have vast experience with design systems, frontend, backend, devops, performance/caching, accessibility, security, and many other problem spaces and aspects of building performant and inclusive modern web applications.

I've been involved with the Drupal community since Drupal 5. I help maintain contrib modules and themes and actively contribute and review patches for both contrib and core. I've made contributions to Drupal core in version 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. In the past, I've provided help and support on #drupal-support and #drupal-es in IRC. Finally, I live in Ecuador and am a friend of the informal group of Drupal developers in Latin America (Drupaleros!) as well as the Drupal Ecuador community. I was a sprint mentor at DrupalCon Bogota 2015 and helped a number of teams of first-time contributors reach RTBC status during the sprint.
