¡Saludos! I've been working on web design and development for over 2 decades. I was introduced to Drupal in late 2016, making the transition from total newbie ("what's a taxonomy??") to making a career as a Drupal developer, most recently at TEN7, a remote digital agency. Though my time there was great, like many Drupal developers, I was unfortunately hit by the Great Layoffs of late 2023 / early 2024. Since then, while working to find my next adventure, I've also been doing things like: taking classes (from Debug Academy), attending local Meetups and virtual conferences (axe-con), volunteering for Drupal4Gov, and sitting lots and lots of doggos!
As a current resident of Washington, DC (proper), in addition to the official conferences listed below, I've been lucky to attend multiple Drupal GovCons, and have really enjoyed meeting the community of folks behind supporting all that is Drupal.
