In this branch we will focus on new features, so it could be unstable. If you need reliability, please use the 6.x-1.x recommended releases.
The major new feature already in the works is extended compatibility with non-core CCK modules.
These are other most wanted features:
1) Negate conditions (so that a field can be triggered when some allowed values are *not* selected)
2) Allow multiple controlling fields on the same field
3) Views integration
4) Allow nested conditional fields
Not all of these will be possible in time for the next version, but if you can contribute, we could make an awesome Conditional Fields 2.0 release!

Conditional Fields 1.0 is finally here.
Thanks to everyone who contributed with patches, tips, and flattering.
Bugs fixed since the BETA-2 release:
- Several small fixes for Drupal Coding Standards adherence.
- #544562: Fix controlling vields values check on node view.
- #500446: Fix jumping animation when sliding.
- #453204: More fixes for required fields inside fieldgroups.
- #357506 by servantleader: Avoid overwriting prefix and suffix of form items.
- Don't skip node form processing when controlling field is not present.
- #611230: Properly show orphaned field on node edit.
- #643716 by cdale: Avoid double animation when hiding fields.
- Script should look for conditional fields anywhere in the document.
- #453204: Fix validation of required controlled fields inside controlled groups.
- Properly show orphaned field in group on node view.
- Disallow access to untriggered fields on node view instead of unsetting them.

First Beta release of Conditional Fields. It's about time!
Until release of 1.0 final, we will not be adding new features, but only fix remaining bugs. Also, any compatibility issue with non-core CCK modules is postponed to version 2 of Conditional Fields.

The 5.x branch of Conditional Fields is very outdated due to limited development time.
Please create a task in the issue queue if you need backporting of specific bugfixes from 6.x.
