Gallery2's website is being migrated to Drupal, and a beta of the site can be seen here.

Looks really nice!

If you can provide additional details by the time you switch, this might be main page worthy!

What module are you using for the screenshots?

I didn't do it, I just spotted it. Perhaps, we should try and contact the authors.

Please do contact the authors, and ask them if they would be willing to write up an article about their migration efforts, and their first Drupal steps. It's always interesting to know what another large PHP-based project thinks about Drupal. As mentioned, it could be main page worthy. Thanks.

OK, I'll give it a go, sometime late today. I was slightly involved in getting the embedded page (embed.php) working with Wordpress (WPG2), so I will use my contact on that project to try and get a response.

The screenshots section you refer to looks like embed.php running in the context of Drupal - I'll ask about this too.

Hey bud,

I'm trying to get something together now for Bharat. I did about 80% of the work on getting the theme together, Bharat finished it off and now I think the end result is awesome.

it's my gallery integration module (that bharat is helping to actually fix up).

and yes... i was waiting until the site actually launched before posting anything - it's been in the works for months and months

I sure agree that the theme is neat, and would like to know how they made the forums so good looking. Hope there is a description or some pointers.. that gallery does look terrific in all ways.

Bharat has written up the process of converting the Gallery2 website to Drupal here. Maybe, it's time a front-page announcement were made.

The Drupal version is now at it's correct home too.
