BigDaddy is not a ready-made theme but a well structured basis for theme developers. It will facilitate theme development and give an optimal start to have a clean rendered HTML and CSS output fully Web standards compliant. It's up to the themer to add more templates, theme functions or CSS to adapt the theme to his project.
Unlike a base theme or starter theme, BigDaddy offers an excellent starting point so that you can modify and customize it directly from the source code to suit your project. All that for a better control of your work environment and to increases your load performance.
Everything is well commented and structured for a better comprehension when you first start using BigDaddy.
HTML5 & Drupal 7
BigDaddy is now in HTML5 and compatible with Drupal 7! The files are more structured, a new CSS file is ready for your @media queries, more theme functions in the template.php file and conditionnal stylesheets can be added directly into the .info file (only in the D6 version).
