Subgroups for Organic Groups

ezra-g - September 2, 2006 - 16:44
Subgroups for organic groups module. Content and users can be propagated along the subgroups tree.

This module allows users with the right access permissions to set group hierarchy.
Admin can set content and users propagation, which means a post created in one group can propagate down/ up/ sideways the subgroups tree.
The same goes for subscribing a user or granting admin rights for the groups – they may be propagated along the subgroups tree as well.

The module provides a block called 'Subgroups' that shows the subgroups tree. The block takes into consideration cases where a user can't access a private group but still has access to the node/xxx/subgroups. In such cases the group will appear as <private group>.

Dependencies:
- Organic groups module. In order to use the 'user propagation' you will have to upgrade to OG dev version.

Maintainers:
- ezra-g
- Amitaibu

Dev version goodies:
- Integration with workflow_ng module.
- Basic integration with views module.

Drupal 6 version:
- Porting has started. D6 version has a dependency in book module (Drupal 6 core module).
- User propagation still not working.
