The Topbar Message module allows the administrator to add a configurable Topbar Message to the page. Display can be set either as site wide or controlled via the context module.
Provides a Drupal-only alternative to HelloBar. It creates a top region area for displaying a call-to-action message and a content type for creating those messages with text for links, etc. It includes a settings page for changing the topbar background, text and link colors via the core Color module.
Installation and Usage:
- In order to install enable both module and feature.
- To create a topbar message, go to node/add/topbar-message where you can customize message, link and link message.
- Customizations are made via admin/config/system/topmessage and, if the color module is enabled, you can adjust colors.
- Message can be displayed site-wide or customized via the context ui
