Hi ya,

I have started porting css and wordpress themes to Drupal 6.x, here.

I hope anyone reading this forum topic will have a look at the different theme ports and let me know what you think.
Things like, what is broken in certain browsers?

The list is:
Christmasdays: a wordpress to drupal v6.x port
CrystalX: a css to drupal v6.x port
Envision 12: a css to drupal v6.x port
Terrafirma: a css to drupal v6.x port

Redesign website designcompany

Website
The redesign of our website was linked with a switch from Wordpress to drupal. It was important that the existing content would fit in well and that we could add many new features to present the content in a contemporary way.

A dynamic starting page with picture and text teasers, clarity in the reference section with different selection / navigation options, a design knowledge area, social bookmark recommendations and more.

SANBI

Business Problem

The South African National Biodiversity Institute (www.sanbi.org) is the custodian of the National Botanical Gardens in South Africa, and is a respected authority in research in applied biodiversity science, climate change, conservation and systematic and collections expansion. SANBI reports to the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs for the South African government.

According to its mandate, SANBI is responsible for making information about its research programmes and national botanical gardens available to the public via its website. Additionally the Institute needs to advertise jobs, events, shops and venues, and keep information about the company and its partners up to date in line with government policy.

Chatterbank - We are now BETA Live :)

Hi all,

The first thing I want to do is not plug the website but say a big thank you to the Drupal community.

This project could not have succeded without them....or Firebug (life saver) :)

On to the project - Chatterbank:

Chatterbank - Earn rewards for sharing the things you enjoy.

I began building this concept 2 years ago when I had the idea of creating a different type of online community. Instead of spending our time just sharing the content that drives us....why not reward our users for doing just that?

Unfortunately time constraints prevented me from completing the project (especially with the massive Drupal learning curve) so the project was abandoned.

This time around, I got stuck in, from scratch with Drupal 7 and created a building block from which I hope my intended community will grow.

The biggest issue surrounding such a site is the marketing aspect. People immediately switch off when they get a whiff of "Free Money" and I am not entirely surprised, but life is about opportunity - and this is one.

We have the funding to see this through and are driven to produce the end-goal that we set out to achieve - a large community who enjoys receiving rewards for using our website.

Augmented Reality News Site - SuperPowerPlanet.com

SuperPowerPlanet.com is a Drupal 7 site that uses Feeds to pull in stories as they happen. These stories are divided into automatic taxonomy subjects using Open Calais (http://www.opencalais.com/). I will be adding an anon user submission of new Augmented Reality content so people can add their page links and get back links and for a general Augmented Reality information site.

Drupal 7 is quite nice to use with great features.

Emu Handmade Tile Art

EmuTile.com is a sales site for Emu Handmade Art Tile. I used Drupal 6 at the time because Ubercart was not ready for 7 (or Drupal Commerce). This site has lots of SEO, uses panels in places, and uses the node gallery module, but otherwise is a straightforward site. I am not a graphic designer so I just went with the Deco Theme. Still tweaking the SEO a little to remove duplicate content.

You can see the site at:

Thanks!
