We all know about GIT - distributed source code management system. Couple of days ago we have started public beta for our hosting platform: ElasticGIT.com.

Front end is Drupal 7.

Reasons for drupal is pretty standard
1. We can easily extend functionality by adding custom modules
2. Lots of modules are already available
3. There are lot of professionals to work with

While front end is drupal; backend is Java + C - and we have custom module to integrate all parts.

Associates in Dermatology is a reputed clinic for dermatology care in Northeast Ohio. With skin specialists, surgeons and experienced medical professionals on-board, the company was searching for an experienced web design firm in the Cleveland area. While they required a team of experienced web site design experts, the requirements were far beyond a plain web design job.

Associates in Dermatology very well knew what they needed in terms of design and development. Their mission was to have visitors (patients and their family, other doctors, potential workforce candidates) recognize the quality of their offline establishments. I set about this project after having a series of 'friends' fade out over time. I spent a lot of time and effort with them and in the long run the differences were obvious. I thought that if I had just had a tool to compare my philosophies and outlooks on life I would have saved months of time. I have a background in psychiatry and psychology and then it clicked. My theory is that it isn't really compatibilities that bring people together. I have lots of friends that I share nothing in common with. The problem with failed relationships is when a major incompatibility inserts itself. Given this, I came up with an engine that test for just this sort of thing. I incorporated the 'Big Five' personality traits initially but then realized that relationships, be it friend or lover include far more. This lead to over 100 personality traits in over 20 domains including nightlife, sexuality, food, sports, etc.

I then wanted a way to quickly turn this 'code' into portable unit so I created a url and then a QR code. Users can customize a 'psyfore' and distribute it. It can anonymous or public. Different psyfores can be distributed with different content. You might have one for singles you meet and another for potential roommates.
