Goals

There are many php scripts for creating game portals, but none of them offers enough customization options for a professional use.
When building this website, our aim was to create a flexible and seo friendly structure that could allow us to:

• quickly add new games
• quickly select which games to promote on the homepage
• perfectly integrate with Facebook
• give the user the possibility to vote a game
• customize graphic layout
• add articles and text pages with ease
• manage ads on both global and per-game basis
• control every single aspect of seo
• .. And all that has to be made *fast* (3000 visitors\day on a very cheap dedicated)

We chose drupal because of its great flexibility.

Mojovine.com is a social game and community site with 60 U.S. cities on the Vine.

The site consists of 60 cities (mojohoods) with their own homepage, news stories, forums, and gallery.

This is a Drupal 7.x website with some custom modules. Gallery to be added soon.
All shoots are linked to a particular wedding resource.

Banner rotation (via jQuery) on the front page is done via a custom module which creates a block and uses jquery cycle to show the slides.

Used modules are among others i18n, wysiwyg, linkit, menu_block, nodeblock, pathologic and webform.
Additionally a block with javascript content from trivago has been added.
Translating blocks was a little pain because there is no richtext editor when translating strings (which there are for blocks). So users should be able to write html.
