I'm happy to announce the first public alpha of FFmpeg Media, a contrib module that brings video transcoding and adaptive streaming to Drupal.
Upload a video through Media Library, and FFmpeg Media handles transcoding, thumbnail generation, adaptive streaming (HLS/DASH), and output delivery — all within Drupal's content model.
