Drupal community toolbar gets API search for enhanced function and file searching

Following feedback from a number of users, the community toolbar (http://www.siteprebuilder.com/content/drupal-community-toolbar) now has a quick API search built into it. This allows for quick access to and a search of all Drupal related functions and files as well as other topics held on the API servers.

New image gallery module with normal gallery edit pages

Hello!
I'm proud to present you new image gallery module for drupal 6 based on standard CCK and nodereference fields.

It's based on main gallery nodes associated with nod reference with image nodes. Image is stored as CCK field. That allowsgallery be more flexible.
Module is opengroups compatible so gallery can contain images with different access rights and each user can see only what it's allowed to see.

Drupal.org Scheduled Downtime Thursday, February 24, 23:00 UTC

Drupal.org will have approximately 12 hours of scheduled downtime, Thursday, February 24, 23:00 UTC (3PM PST, 6PM EST). We will be performing the CVS to Git migration. This is the most comprehensive and extensive change to Drupal.org in recent history - perhaps ever, therefore, the Infrastructure & Git Migration teams need an adequate time buffer to perform the migration, verify the data, and check for and resolve any issues.

What does “downtime” mean?

The following parts of the *.drupal.org will be inaccessible for the duration of the migration:

  • The main drupal.org website, including all download pages, issue queues, forums, and search.
  • Write access to cvs.drupal.org.
  • Account creation on any of the Drupal.org sub-sites, including groups.drupal.org, api.drupal.org, and chicago2011.drupal.org.

Site under attack

Someone has just tried a nasty little attack on our Drupal-based site, www.bachtrack.com. The attack failed, but I thought it was worth posting a warning to others. If there's a better place to post this (a security forum somewhere else?) someone please let me know.

The attacker registered as a user, and posted a piece of Javascript into as many places as he could find to add content to the site - including his signature and a couple of custom forms. The intention of the script was to set the passwords of all users to "password" (I've shown the script in full below).
