I have been a drupal.org contributor since 2007 and have worked at Drupal-specific shops (or roles) since 2012 (Commerce Guys, then Acro Media). I maintain about thirty contrib modules, most of them in the Drupal Commerce ecosystem. More recently I joined the core team building the official Model Context Protocol (MCP) module, which lets AI clients talk to Drupal sites through Anthropic's protocol — opening Drupal up to AI developers who have never used it before.
I have spoken at DrupalCon Austin, Bogotá, Baltimore, Nashville, Global 2020, Pittsburgh 2023, Atlanta 2025, and Chicago 2026. Chicago included a fireside chat on AI in the nonprofit context at the Nonprofit Summit, a breakout on agentic interfaces, and a live MCP demo at the Pantheon expo booth. Many of my DrupalCon talks have been at summits and were not recorded; three older ones that were:

I like Drupal events because it's fun to be among the community and talk to all the amazing people using and pushing this technology forward. I have been mentoring at DrupalCon since 2014. While I do code, I've spent more time recently being a human and helping other humans. Teaching is the best way to learn.
