Maintaining issue tags
Drupal.org site moderators, content administrators, content moderators, and administrators can edit and delete issue tags.
Issue tag issues
Don’t have access to manage issue tags? Please let us know about tag descriptions that can be improved, or junk tags deleted, with a Drupal.org content issue. You can also help out by reviewing issue tag issues.
Editing issue tags
Manage issue tags to edit issue tag descriptions and rename tags.
- Needs … tags should have concise descriptions that help contributors move an issue toward resolution.
- Common tags with consensus on their use should have concise descriptions explaining that use.
- Descriptions should usually be useful for all projects, core and contrib.
- Tag name typos can be corrected, such as capitalization and spelling. Be sure the new name doesn’t already exist.
Deleting issue tags
Find and delete unused issue tags. Deleting an issue tag also removes it from the comment history of added and removed tags, so only delete spam, misspelled, and other completely useless issue tags.
Don’t see a tag in the list? It is still being used. Search all issues for the bad tag and update each one.
