This may just be an artifact of the field validation settings and anyways I usually handle image separately.

I don't need this functionality, just creating this ticket as an FYI. Even though it says it can handle all file types, it complained about a jpg and said, "Only file types of type default are allowed." That doesn't make sense as an error.

Maybe adding a line of text saying that "all filetypes except images?"

I looked at the module and might be able to co-maintain to fix bugs if need be. I don't need this module to be super-fancy, just to do what it says it will do.

And yeah, this module is a hack so it may break, and if I encounter breakage on my sites that interfere with my usage I will create a patch. Again, thanks much for making this module.

I'm not quite sure what would cause this. I've never had an issue with image files; they work for me along with all other filetypes. I wouldn't mind a co-maintainer if you're still willing (I realize it's been quite a while since you posted this bug).

Can you isolate this bug to a simple case? I can't help but think that maybe it's an interaction with another module, in which case I'll need to know what module it is in order to fix it.
