Looks like this only works for registration. Is there any way this service can be also used for preventing contact-form Spam? The email address or text could be the means to detect the Spammer, isn't it?

Hi,

Presently no. Some extra code would need to be written.

I'm doubtful how useful it would be. I don't expect that contact form spammers would actually use legitimate email addresses, and the database at www.stopforumspam.com doesn't support querying text.

I think there are more suitable other solutions for contact form spam.

I create some patch, which add additional settings to protect site contact form.

I think we can check, at least, user's IP address and for some cases it will be enough.

But the patch is outdated, there is a new mechanism in module code, which allow adding protection to any form. Need to re-write patch with using it.
