Support for 5.x branch of the Mailchimp module?

I see on the project page:
The 7.x-2.x branch supports Mailchimp 3.x. The 7.x-4.x branch supports Mailchimp 4.x.

Now there's a 7.x-5.x version of the Mailchimp module that is the recommended stable release. Does the 4.x branch of this module support that?

Will there be support for it if not?
