Drupal Commons 3.6 (Drupal 7.24 core) contains the following features and updates:

New feature

• BETA - Enable site visitors to easily embed media into contributed content

  After you enable the Commons Media module (available for BETA evaluation), both you and your authorized site users can both upload files and media into content for configured content types and link to external resources on the web, including YouTube videos or Flickr images. Learn more.
