Show off your Drupal site

www.gelenk-doktor.de was setup to increase the profile of an orthopaedic doctor in Freiburg, Germany. The design focus was calm simplicity, focus and ease of use: all age groups should be equally able to use the website.

The inevitable use of medical terms was compensated by applying inline definitions delivered the Drupal Glossary Module. We have found 2 problems within the Glossary module:

Geelong Otway Tourism is a government tourism body charged with promoting the four local tourism regions of 'Geelong', 'The Bellarine', 'Surf Coast' and 'The Otways' in southern Victoria, Australia.

This area includes about half of the celebrated Great Ocean Road. This touring route is a major tourism drawcard and has had its own official website for over 10 years, however due to the way the road crosses two different major tourism regions it was decided that the approach of a single site was no longer working.

GOT (Geelong Otway Tourism) contracted Choc Chip multimedia to build a new website to provide tourism information and represent the member businesses of the tourism association by giving them prominent pages on the site.

The new site is located at www.visitgreatoceanroad.org.au

This project was undertaken in two main stages.

Stage 1 - Placeholder site

Faith the Dog's Official Web Site is a Drupal 6 site using the Acquia distro (but without an Acquia subscription). The site is integrated with Twitter and uses Gigya Socialize for user authentication.

On Dec. 16, 2009 the Associated Press published a news story titled Two-legged dog gives hope to disabled Army vets and a YouTube video about Faith

The story was picked up by many regional papers/web sites, MSNBC, Yahoo! News top item, Google News, Huffington Post etc etc There was also a flurry of activity on Twitter and Facebook

As a result, traffic that was previously 300-500 visits per day spiked to over 7300 on 12/16 alone, and the site hosted at Hot Drupal held up pretty well, with some minimal performance caching turned on.

Little Star Prints (http://www.littlestarprints.com) harnesses the power of Drupal, Dojo, Ubercart and a proprietary editing software to allow users to browse, personalize and order custom birth announcements, invitations, seasonal cards and related stationery.

The purpose of our site is to provide a select line of premium quality stationery which is user-editable in terms of user-provided photo images and text content. Our focus is on children and family related content.

We are a small group of first-time entrepreneurs with ambitious ideas and no previous eCommerce experience, and as such we got very lucky in managing to assemble an exceptional team to help us bring our vision to life. Freelock Computing (http://www.freelock.com/) is the team of specialists behind the remarkable amount of development done on this project. They delivered above and beyond, and our site would probably not exist at this point were it not for them.

Here's my website. Development started about a month ago - at which point I knew nothing at all about drupal, php, and little about css.
