Metro Vancouver Alliance for Arts & Curlture - now built on Drupal. Features: job board, Arts Map, blog, member pages.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to mention a new Drupal site: www.allianceforarts.com - Metro Vancouver Alliance for Arts & Culture.

It has been redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up to incorporate member accounts, an active job board, blog, and my favourite feature, an Arts Map of the Metro Vancouver area - www.allianceforarts.com/arts-map

Phase 2 (coming soon) will integrate an events calendar.

Resqdebt goes live with 6.13

After several months we've gone live with our new Drupal site. http://www.resqdebt.com

Our new drupal site!

This is the first drupal site I've built but the clients are pleased :-)

The brief was to develop a community based site where the administrator could easily upload lessons as part of the photography course and users to could purchase a subscription to view them and upload their photographs.

They also wanted the admin and users to be able to comment on the photos, and to have a more general discussion forum.

Case Study: Saint Louis Review News Website

The Saint Louis Review is a local Catholic diocesan newspaper serving the nearly 500,000 member Archdiocese of Saint Louis. The newspaper has had a website since the late 90s, which was ported to a custom-designed CMS in 2001. The PHP/MySQL-based site ran quite well throughout the first decade of this millennium, but was in need of either a serious overhaul or a redesign, to go along with the paper's new tabloid layout in April 2009.

The decision was made in 2007 to port the website to Joomla, but after a few months, a new editor, and more work, it was determined that, due to its extensibility, flexible out-of-the-box permissions, and standards/SEO-compliant codebase, Drupal would be a better fit for the site. Work was begun in January of 2009 to transfer the custom CMS' articles database (over 17,000 articles) to a Drupal site, create a new template based off the colors and design of the new tabloid-format paper, and integrate an easier-to-manage ad system and back-end.

Lyemium soft launch

Hello everyone I thought I should make my first post here in the Drupal showcase section.

My site http://www.lyemium.com/ is now live. The focus of the site will be geared toward designers and will be a more drupal-centric site. This is just a soft launch as I am waiting for the release of Drupal 7 to begin developing and theming the site the way I envisioned it. Right now its just more of a showcase as to what I can do in Drupal and I'm looking forward to working with the drupal community and any up and coming developers.
