Theme development

It am looking at the overview of the new template system, at:

http://drupal.org/node/11774

It kind of makes sense that drupal should be shipped with both xtemplate and phptemplate versions of default styles.

So could somebody implement box_grey for xtemplate,
and pushbutton for phptemplate?

This would make it much easier for folks to decide where to start from, and should accelerate the development of additional templates.

Is there a Block out there that would give users a pulldown-type menu of themes to choose from and remember (with a cookie?) which they used for their next visit?

If not where should I look for how to code this myself?

I'm using Drupal 4.5.0 and I've installed PHPTemplate, I've been able to modify all the colors in my theme escept for my tables. Where is it in the CSS file? How do I change the colors? My tables aren't readable by viewers cuz the background is the same at the text.

Is there some sort of Table of Contents for the Box_Grey CSS file which describes each item?

I have been working on my Drupal site for quite sometime now. I started working on a Mac while testing everything in Safari and Firefox.. I am about launch and for some strange reason the style.css file will not load in Internet Explorer for the PC. I have been beating my head against the wall trying to figure it out. I have the files named correctly and everything! The drupal.css is loading just not style.css. Has anyone had the same problem and if so...how do I fix it? The link to the site is
