VaxDesign: Corporate Website for Biotech R&D Company

VaxDesign has been using Drupal since Drupal 5 to run its corporate website, vaxdesign.com. When it came time to refresh the website, Drupal remained the "go to" choice of content management systems because of its large number of community-supported modules, its ability to handle multiple content types and multiple editors, and its customizability with custom modules.

The website was designed and developed in-house. Content was provided by company directors working with many of the scientists. During the site's development, members of the development team worked from Tokyo, Japan and Orlando, Florida, USA. Using Drupal made collaboration and development between locations trivial.

About VaxDesign

VaxDesign's MIMIC® technology lets pharmaceutical, vaccine, and biotechnology companies test their vaccines and immunotherapies more rapidly and efficiently. Instead of relying solely on traditional clinical trials, which are slow and often limited in the number and kinds of people they can test, or animal testing, which often isn't predictive of human responses to a therapy, these companies can use the MIMIC® System.

Offshore Fund Club - A Japanese Membership Website in Drupal Comes to Life

After spending over 4 months developing my first non-English website in Drupal and proving to myself that Drupal could be used effectively to create a full non-English front-end and be able to administer it using a full English language back-end, I tried with my new project, Offshore Fund Club, to take it to the next level and over 5 months later it is finally online. With this project the goal was to create a full membership website in Japanese related to offshore investing and offshore funds using Drupal to manage the boring stuff, adding in multiple roles, complex permissions and managed user accounts and complex taxonomy for organizing member only content.

Free SEO Guide : Built using Drupal

One day, while entirely bored, I thought "Why not try to use Drupal to create a niche, online version of a book about SEO that was free..." And that is what I did. So, using V5... Although I am thinking about using V6, I built a site in a couple of hours and then spent a few hours configuring and tweaking the theme. And using my own advice, I am number one on Google for quite a few keywords -- still working my SEO strategy though. Hope you like it and find it useful.
