Millennial Living- an online home remodeling community

Millennial Living is an online remodeling community that seeks to distinguish itself from other remodeling and home improvement sites. It does this by providing the ability to comment on in-depth articles and blogs posts, and provides Forums and blogging to members. Also users are able to Ask Tom for specific help with their remodeling questions. The website also publishes independent articles on energy and going green.

The purpose of this case study is to demonstate how a single individual with the help of the Drupal Forums used Drupal to implement the Millennial Living web site. I'm also seeking feedback on all aspects of the design, site and suggestions about other modules.

VaxDesign: Corporate Website for Biotech R&D Company

VaxDesign has been using Drupal since Drupal 5 to run its corporate website, vaxdesign.com. When it came time to refresh the website, Drupal remained the "go to" choice of content management systems because of its large number of community-supported modules, its ability to handle multiple content types and multiple editors, and its customizability with custom modules.

The website was designed and developed in-house. Content was provided by company directors working with many of the scientists. During the site's development, members of the development team worked from Tokyo, Japan and Orlando, Florida, USA. Using Drupal made collaboration and development between locations trivial.

About VaxDesign

VaxDesign's MIMIC® technology lets pharmaceutical, vaccine, and biotechnology companies test their vaccines and immunotherapies more rapidly and efficiently. Instead of relying solely on traditional clinical trials, which are slow and often limited in the number and kinds of people they can test, or animal testing, which often isn't predictive of human responses to a therapy, these companies can use the MIMIC® System.
