Does anyone know a way to do the following with Drupal?
1. Sell a digital asset, specifically PDF (I guess ecommerce module)?
2. Encrypt the PDF automatically with a key such as the recipient's email address as the password?
3. Provide a limited-time download link to get the unique encrypted file above?
I know that savvy users can break the encryption scheme of most PDFs, but for most users this would stop wide redistribution of the published work.
OG User Roles has several settings to allow you to define and assign a default role to users who either sign up to your site or subscribe to your group:
Default Non-Group Role for new users
Use this setting to define a role to be assigned to ALL new users who sign up to your site. This is NOT a group role, but a site-wide role that the user will have anywhere on your site. Use this for automatically placing all new users who create a new account on your site into a single role.
Default Basic Group Role for new group subscribers
Use this setting to define a group role to be assigned to all new users who sign up to ANY group on your site. This is NOT a site-wide role that the user will have everywhere on your site. This is a group role whose permissions the user will only have within the group or groups he has subscribed to. Use this to automatically place all new group subscribers into a single role.

Assistance with a Drupal-based project (beginning with the initial installation/configuration) is needed immediately.
The ongoing improvements/customizations to this system could potentially become a long-term project, and could evolve into a greater opportunity for the right individual(s).
Our office is in the north Phoenix/Scottsdale (Arizona) area; therefore, would prefer to work with someone who is also local to this area – however, we are open to working with other qualified individuals as well.
Hi all, I'm new to drupal and to this forum. I wanted to create a website that behaves like this.
I have four main sections i my website. this mains sections can be accessed using four top menu items. these four main sections have subsections with them. is it possible with drupal that, when i click on any of the main menu, the corresponding sub menu should be displayed on the left. both the corresponding main menu item, & the item selected on the left should be highlighted.
Hooray for the concept of OpenID and Drupal jumping on board.
But who is running the show over there at OpenID? The web site is terrible. It's confusing, the UI is a disaster. It is so sloppy over there that there are pages that don't have title tags.
I can't imagine Drupal's embracing of OpenID will mean anything when the OpenID web site is so terrible.
