Colllabo.com a community for educators.

What is Colllabo

"Colllabo is a sharing and collaboration community for educators. As technology improves, access to quality resources and information does not need to be limited to inside your school. Educators around the globe are doing amazing work with students every day, and we need a place for this work to be shared, discussed, and developed."

Site is on Drupal 6

We'll try to add a more detailed showcase when we have more time.

Computer Support Website

I was recently asked by a friend if i could design and build a website that could be used to provide computer support.

He wanted to be able to help people with any computer problems over the internet as well as his call out service he currently provides locally.

The website needed to accept payments from users to purchase credits which then could be used for Live Chat Support, Remote Desktop Support and Support Tickets as he is only online 9-5pm Monday-Friday.

The website is http://www.sa1pcsupport.co.uk

Penny Stocks - Cash Flow Analysis

From a list of 11,844 penny stock symbols I threw out those that had no cash flow statements on the yahoo site. I then looked up the last price and volume figures and threw out those that did not have a price between a penny and ten cents, and those with a trading volume of less than 10,000 shares for the day. I then looked up the 'total cash flow from operating activities' figures for the remaining stocks and scored them based upon positive cash flow and cash flow growth over the four most recent quarterly periods.

iTravel Costa Rica - Social Travel Directory Case Study

i Travel Costa Rica is an interactive travel website created using Drupal 6.x. It lists a wide variety of travel information including hotels, restaurants, tours, beaches, transportation, photo galleries, and more. Each section contains specific fields to include information and pictures, making it simple for anyone to post content. We also integrated Google maps to display the exact location of each listing. Administrative users are able to select the location on a map when creating or editing a listing. Drupal also allows for social interaction with comments, 5 star ratings, blogs, Facebook integration for login and share/like buttons, and additional social network sharing, and an "add to favorites" feature that lets a user create a list of their favorite hotels or other listings, and access it from their user profile. Each section is listed using the views module, and includes a featured listing at the top, and search filters to narrow your results. Taxonomy was used to categorize listings by their location and region, and a location menu was added for quick navigation. When viewing by location you can also filter by the type of listing to find exactly what you are looking for.
